 The Supreme Court  The Supreme Court is the highest judicial system in America, meaning it overpowers the federal and state courts. The Supreme Court has nine people including one Chief Justice and eight Associate Justices. The highest chief, Chief Justice, is administrative for the federal courts in the United States. The reason it is called the Establishment clause is because the first thing James Madison and company conversed about and agreed upon is that the citizens of the United States shall not be told which religion to follow.
