 The Supreme Court  The Supreme Court is the highest judicial system in America, meaning it overpowers the federal and state courts. The Supreme Court has nine people including one Chief Justice and eight Associate Justices. The highest chief, Chief Justice, is administrative for the federal courts in the United States. The Supreme Court is in charge to defend the Constitution, interpret the law, and hear cases of the lower federal courts.  Six Freedoms of the First Amendment  The very first clause stated in the Bill of Rights is known as the Establishment Clause. The reason it is called the Establishment clause is because the first thing James Madison and company conversed about and agreed upon is that the citizens of the United States shall not be told which religion to follow. The Founding Fathers of our beautiful country and their associates realized that the Church of England is corrupt and should not have the power over their citizens that they do have and that is one of the main reasons the colonies fought with Great Britain for their independence.   My top five news sources  Staying informed about national and international events is an important part of my daily life, where I source information that has the same views as I do, is important too; as it should be for everyone. While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I feel we are blessed to be in a society where we can have so many different options on where we can get our information on what's happening in the world.
